Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 8, 2026. The short version: QR code generation happens entirely in your browser. We only store data when you sign in and choose to save codes.
What never leaves your device
The content you encode — URLs, WiFi passwords, contact details, uploaded CSVs and logos — is processed by JavaScript in your browser. Generating and downloading codes involves no upload; we cannot see what you encode.
What we store if you create an account
- Account data: when you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture to identify your account.
- Saved codes: titles and destination URLs of codes you explicitly save to your collection.
- Scan analytics: for dynamic codes, each scan records timestamp, device type, browser, operating system, and approximate location derived from the request. We do not identify the person scanning.
- Billing: payments are processed by Stripe. We store your subscription status and a Stripe customer reference — never card numbers.
Third-party services
We use Google Sign-In (authentication), Stripe (payments), Supabase (database hosting), and Vercel (hosting). Each processes only the data needed for its function.
Cookies and local storage
We use browser local storage to remember your session and locally saved codes. We do not run third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
Data deletion
Delete saved codes anytime from your collection. To delete your account and all associated data, contact us and we will remove it.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will update the date above and note the change here.
